Dr. Dmitry Amunts
Born on 8 June 1962. Russian citizen with Moscow as his domicile. Dr. Amunts graduated from the Department of Economic Cybernetics, Plekhanov Moscow Institute of National Economy in 1984 and later completed a PhD in Economics in 2006. He represented the USSR/Russia in the trade mission in Ghana and then worked for the Menatep - Rosprom and Alfa groups. From 1998 – 2000 he was Vice President of Swiss based engineering Mabetex Group. During 2000 - 2001 he was Deputy CEO of the JSC Aeroflot. From 2001 - 2004 he was Chairman of the CIS Investment Committee. In 2004 he was appointed as a Deputy Minister of Culture and Mass Communication, Russia. From 2008 - 2009 Dr. Amunts was General Director and later President of United Industrial Corporation (OPK). Currently he is the Chairman of the Atlas engineering group(Construction, Engineering & Energy).
